This century-old classic colonial is a timeless beauty that was ready for a breath of fresh air. This full-home renovation included updating the floor plan to an open-concept design, creating a seamless flow flooded with natural light. The new layout cohesively allowed the recently relocated family to enjoy a home that reflected their contemporary style and need to keep an eye on the little ones dashing around.

Drinks Anyone? The flickering lanterns give an instant sense of relaxation. Moroccan, limestone mosaic tiles shimmer above this custom built bar, complete with a built in dual- zone wine fridge, and hanging wine glass rack, giving the softly lit space an entirely separate feel from other areas across the room. We pride ourselves on incorporating various styles in the same space, reflected by the rustic reclaimed wood wall, modern office nook, industrial staircase, Scandinavian bar stools and transitional seating area. Various decorative elements are a nod to the client’s heritage.

This client embodies the traits above and we designed her bedroom to reflect this. We built out a new walk-in closet, added crown molding and removed built-ins for a copy reading nook. Love the sliding barn door look but want a more contemporary version? Transform an oversized wall mirror with sleek brushed nickel hardware.

The cool teen’s mom had one request- Let this room be a reflection of my daughter. We worked collaboratively with the daughter (running big decisions by mom) to discover how we could showcase her passion, love for art, records, Japanime, astrology and the color blue. Using LED backlighting and a breezy tropical style palette we created a space that felt comfortable and unique. And of course a blue hummingbird feeder outside her window- she loves hummingbirds.
